This intimate hideaway, with its riverfront landscape and year round heated pool, is called White Pines, and we think you'll love it as much as we do.
The House Tour. Situated on the banks of the Beaver Brook (the original location and inspiration for Cabin Porn), White Pines is a newly built, modern home with ample space for entertaining both outside and inside. The open interiors are accented with bright color pops, and don't let us forget to mention that the home comes fully furnished.
The home's square footage is laid out over a single level for convenience, anchored by the open plan living/dining space with its cozy wood stove, soaring ceilings and a design-forward Reform chef's kitchen.
Subtle hallways extend to either end - one to the primary suite, which features highlights like a wood stove, sliding glass doors, and en suite bathroom, and one to the guest rooms and shared bathroom.
For more design highlights and practical elements, please refer to our brochure.
The Grounds. Walls of windows open out from the living space and primary suite onto an expansive Brazilian Cumura wood deck.
Off the deck, a year-round heated container pool overlooks the river beyond. Jovially, this is the Upstate version of an infinity pool.
The plot's five acres are otherwise largely forested, with key moments for the fire pit and wildflower meadow.
The Area. While the privacy of White Pines makes it feel secluded, it is still close conveniences and adventure as you explore the Upper Delaware River Valley. Minutes away, the towns of Barryville and Eldred are home to farmers market, coffee, dining, and libations. Less than half an hour further into the Catskills is the renowned Forestburgh Playhouse, as well as the kayaking adventures on the Rio Reservoir. Narrowsburg's shops and restaurants are 20 minutes away, and Port Jervis’ train and amenities are a mere 30-minute drive, and New York City is just 2 hours away by car.
As his latest project, the creative mind and founder of Rest Co. presents us with an ever so handsome cabin in the woods. This poolside, riverfront home is just 100 miles from NYC.
